What Are We Doing?
It’s pretty simple. We’re here to play games. Our games are set up to be played only during the con each month. Most games only last for one session of 2-3.5 hours though some are a part of longer, ongoing stories with rotating groups. Game runners pitch the games they want to run and when they want to run their sessions during the event. Players will reserve spots in those sessions.
This event is here to help you pick up new games and meet new friends.

Wanna Play a Game?
Anyone can sign up to play in our games. You’ll be asked for some information to help make sure we’re caring for you and setting expectations for conduct and consent. That’s all it takes!
Get in the Loop.
Sign up for the TTRPG Pickup Con mailing list and I’ll send you updates on when the next event is coming up, when to sign up and ask your opinions for improving it every month. Usually this amounts to no more than four emails a month. You do not need to be on the mailing list to play. Everyone who signs up to play will also be invited to join our Discord Server.
Set Up Your DM Screen
All game runners are welcomed to create pickup sessions in any game system. If you are a game runner in any system or a new game runner who wants to try it out with your favourite game, click the link below for more information and to get your game into the event. You will be asked for information for the listing of your game. Please be prepared to describe your story to draw in players!
Who’s Driving This Thing?
I’m Ansel Burch, the Indecisionist. I’m an avid game player and storyteller. Think of me as the dark figure in the shadowy corner of the tavern or spaceport bar. I’m just here to get you together and send you on your way. Have fun slaying the beast or whatever. Maybe, if I’m lucky, I’ll follow your party on an adventure.
I am joined in making the magic by our amazing Con Committee who help with moderating the Discord server, coming up with ideas for con improvement, and helping those ideas blossom.
Why Are You Doing It?
I love playing RPGs. I play as much as I can with my friends but getting a group together can be a challenge. During the lockdowns, when it was hardest to gather with people and tell stories together, I was inspired to create a digital version of the big gaming events I participated in while in college. Those all-day RP festivals helped me fall in love with TTRPGs for life. I hope that by hosting this event I can give that to someone else as well as support the larger gaming community as a whole.
