“Raptor Peak: Velvet Hands for Dragonscale Gloves” a West Marches (Roughly Connected) session in the Mavericks system. Led by Ansel Burch
Some say that Raptor Peak represents the edge of the known world. And looking north from the frostbitten crag would certainly encourage that impression for most. So, having a visitor from the distant north, beyond the distant horizon would be enough cause for excitement without her also carrying a demanding message from the distant city of dragons.
This game will be great if you like lighthearted fantasy, creative problem-solving, and playtesting new systems.

Congratulations, citizen! You have been randomly selected for a short bout of Biohazard-Control duty! Report to your local Biohazard-Control Department Chapter for details concerning the Thrilling Adventure of missing-persons retrieval to which you have been assigned." The messenger looks around furtively, and lowers his voice. "You know that dragon what crash-landed yesterday? Word is, there's some kinda rich muckity-muck inside that needs extractin'." He grins toothily, then scampers off before you can muster a reply.
This game will be great if you like dragons (especially their interiors), Fantastic Voyage, The Magic Schoolbus, and weird science-fantasy

“Case of the Haunted House Flip” a West Marches (Roughly Connected) session in the D&D 5E system (Slightly Modified). Led by Rayne Bakcheious
In this game, you'll play as a member of the Ravenswood Paranormal Society, a group of friends researching the creepy and unexplained happenings in Chicago. One afternoon, you arrive at your group's office to find a message on the answering machine:
"Hi, uh this is Jayden Augustine. My husband and I just bought this really cool old house that we're renovating for a bed and breakfast. And like, sure it's a little haunted but it's really old. And that's part of the charm.
But last night Jacques found me sleepwalking. Which I've never done before. And I was... well I was digging in the basement... And now he says if I don't have someone ‘fix it’ that he's gonna call a priest. Could you... maybe come have a look?"
This game will be great if you like playing Monster of the Week, but would like a crunchier combat system.
Players should build level 5 characters ahead.

“Dream of Dragons” a Standard One Shot in the Isles of Mist (an original fantasy system). Led by Ashton MacSaylor
When a mysterious egg found in a small village of the Green Vales is identified as a dragon egg, a group of young adventurers must undertake the dangerous journey to the capital at Menaleth to bring the egg to the Queen--before any adult dragons discover the egg's presence and get the wrong idea!
But the journey is complicated by strange dreams that these young heroes start experiencing, in which they themselves seem to be soaring through the air, on wings that look suspiciously like dragon wings...
(This game will be run in Isles of Mist, a high fantasy system that breaks from the Tolkien-esque tradition. This is the official gaming system of Story Tables, used to run family-friendly games as an after-school and summer program for ages 9-18, and sometimes parents.)"

Their leaders have hired us to figure out why and stop it.

“The Murder Mavens” a Standard One Shot in the Brindlewood Bay. Led by Nona de Koning
BRINDLEWOOD BAY is a roleplaying game about a group of elderly women—members of the local Murder Mavens mystery book club—who find themselves solving actual murder mysteries in their quaint New England town. There is no canon solution to the mysteries, instead players must collect and piece together many different clues and come up with a convincing theory, then play to find out if they are right! The specific mystery will be one not played at TTRPG Pickup Con before and is selected based on submitted lines & veils :)
The Mavens themselves are all elderly women whose partners have passed away and whose children have long flown the nest. Now, they’re enjoying their golden years in the picturesque town of Brindlewood Bay, keeping their homes the way they like, pursuing their hobbies, and finding comfort and companionship in each other. Their mystery book club has been meeting on the top floor of The Candlelight Booksellers every Saturday evening for the last ten years. The Mavens are particularly fond of The Gold Crown Mysteries series by Robin Masterson, featuring the globe-trotting super-sleuth, Amanda Delacourt (which only exists in-universe and not in our world).
The Mavens' special interest in these books has resulted in them becoming amateur detectives themselves, and by the time the game starts, they have helped local police solve several high profile crimes. Sometimes people approach them to get their help on a case, but usually the Mavens just stumble onto it—much to the chagrin of the authorities, who almost always resent their meddling.
There are some supernatural elements in play in the background, but those will need to be uncovered through repeated plays and aren't a part of this oneshot. There is also a meta level to the setting, where the Mavens are actually characters in a TV show that the players are watching. If there is enough interest in it, the gamerunner is willing to offer this system at future cons in a West-Marches approach where both of these elements will feature more prominently.
