Upcoming Cons!
“The Cursed Mirror” a Standard Oneshot in the Magical Kitties system, led by Nona.
You are Cute. You are Cunning. You are Fierce. You also have a Talent, a Flaw, and a Magical Power. You are Magical Kitties, and it’s time to Save the Day! This D6 dicepool system is designed for all ages to enjoy and excels as an introduction to TTRPGs, but is still great fun for a group of experienced adults, too.
Welcome to your Hometown: Sunset City, also known as the City of a Thousand Mysteries. There’s always something fishy going on here, whether it’s someone robbing a priceless work of art from a museum or an unexplained case of amnesia. Kitties in Sunset City run the famous Cat Eyes Detective Agency, which is housed in the basement of the human Diamond & Ace Detective Agency. Although the human detectives are pretty good at their jobs, sometimes it takes a magical touch to get to the heart of what’s really going on in this town! Magic in Sunset City is mysterious and hard to spot unless you know what you’re looking for. Magical kitties have an advantage, being magical themselves, but most humans wouldn’t know magic if it hit them in the face. This time, the Kitty Krew is visited by a witch and tasked to find the Cursed Mirror stolen from them! Whenever someone looks into it, they turn into a statue, uh-oh. Better get on it quickly!
This game will be great if you like cats, magic, Saturday Morning cartoons, Ratatouille, Over the Hedge, The Rescuers, and Thumbelina.
This system is especially great for new players.
The game runner is very familiar with this system. Pregen kitties are available.
This game will be hosted in room #2 of the TTRPG Pickup Con Discord server. Spectators are welcome in the Discord room.

“Small Creatures, Big Emotions” is a Standard Oneshot in the Michtim system, led by Nona
Michtims are easily mistaken for hamsters at first glance, yet they have access to magic, technology, and nature's allies. They are in constant struggle with humans' plans to take down their sacred Immergrummel woods. Nevertheless, they also know how to have a good time, because bakery festivals are an important part of their culture. Imagine a cartoon show starring you and your fuzzy gang, in fervent episodes to save your beloved magical kingdom from the machinations of humanity. You will take your finest Glidewing cloaks and most trusted Tome of Frost to blast away at your enemies with the power of your Anger. You will build mechanical support drones to cure your friends from afar. You will define trigger conditions to ward your friends with the power of your Grief. It's about exploring a world that's larger and more hostile, but that holds wonder and amazement.
Personality is a core mechanic, and Michtims are very emotional. Their abilities are directly based on the five big emotions! Anger is used to attack foes, while Love allows the Michtim to tend the wounds of friends. Joy provides mobility and perception, while Fear is used to hide or evade attacks. Grief, on the other hand, allows the Michtim to weep to reduce incoming damage. Outside of emotions, their culture uses a blend of Magic, Tech, and Nature to deal with issues. Jump into play quickly by combining a Personality like The Creative, The Protector, or the Gloomy One with a Calling such as Daredevil, Cook, or Sorcerer! Who will you be?
This game will be great if you like Inside Out, David the Gnome, Saturday Morning Cartoons, fluffy critters, and leaning into your character's emotions!
New players are welcome.
The GM is also new to this system.
Character templates are provided to pick from.

“Gone to Seed” is a Standard Oneshot in the Something Tookish system. Led by Nona de Koning
In Something Tookish, you play as a Halfling in a cozy little village, solving various mysteries. Not everything is a crime, and there's nothing as gruesome as murder, oh no, they wouldn't do that! But petty theft or spats between neighbours also require someone to meddle solve them, right? And you're just the Halflings for the job! This game uses the Carved from Brindlewood framework.
This means (just like in Brindlewood Bay), there is no canon solution to the mysteries. It's up to the players to come up with a clever way to tie everything together. However, there are plenty of clues to find and plenty of locals to meet!
This oneshot is for 2-4 Halflings and will take about 3 hours. Our session pitch: "Rogert Bumblestaff's vegetables have gone missing from his garden overnight during the past few weeks, and that he suspects his old rival and neighbour Cotter Mugwort of stealing them. He wants the Halfings to prove Cotter’s misdeeds and shame him before the village. Can you catch the thief red-handed? And is Cotter or someone else? Play to find out!"
This game will be great if you like cozy mysteries, community, small-town village life, rhymes and tales, The Hobbit, PbtA, and/or Carved from Brindlewood games.
New players welcome.

“Tiny Bugs In a Big World” a Standard Oneshot in the Pico system, led by Nona.
System pitch: Let me tell you a story. There was a night, many, many years ago, when everything ended. Bugs aren’t that great at writing things down, so nobody really thought to record the particulars of the event, but the effects were lasting; no more pesticides, no more deforestation, no more fish hooks or bait boxes or flypaper. Pets ran free from newly-quiet houses, and roach motels showed nothing but vacancies. The biggest change that most bugs noticed that night was that it suddenly got a lot quieter, especially near those black stone ribbons they’d learned not to cross, and the immense above-ground warrens full of beeping machines and smells so succulent they were almost impossible to resist. So bugs, on the whole, flourished. And the world opened up to them in return. Welcome to Pico, a game of tiny bugs in a big world.
Pico is the newest release by Felix Isaacs, based off the same engine as his award-winning game The Wildsea, with a few little bugly twists thrown in to keep things fresh! It is a fiction-first system about playing as tiny bugs in a huge world where humans have disappeared entirely. The game's themes are Cute, Weird, Community, Creativity, and Adventure. It is a game about solving tiny problems, most often in creative ways and often without violence.
Session pitch: The Mysteriocalypse has been termed, by some bugly historians, as the 'end of an age of order', and perhaps nowhere is this more evident than within the transparent confines of the Skyglass Dome. There are echoes of a less chaotic time - workbenches stacked with rusting tools, sacks of sand that would have dwarfed even a picotitan before they split and spilled, the remnants of a fine iron cage standing stark against the outer sky. But that old world is... Well, not gone, not entirely, but certainly thoroughly reclaimed. The Skyglass Dome now stands as an ecological triumph, a contradiction, and a living chaos. Desert dunes stretch between lush, fertile flowerbeds, and cacti grow in the shade of fruiting vines. The glass panelling that once kept the outside world at bay is bloomcovered, stem-choked, and in some places missing entirely. Some denizens, the spiky sorts, revel in the spilled sands and the heat of a glass-focused sun and wish to keep things as they are. Others want to speed the spread of vegetative chaos, hatching elaborate schemes to break panes and twist metal, and sowing ever more seeds wherever they'll take. The Skyglass Dome is glorious, rowdy, tropical, colorful and above all, ready for you to come visit and explore.
This game will be great if you like exploration, creative problem-solving, playing as small creatures in a big world, The Wildsea, Mausritter, Redwall, The Rescuers, The Hobbit, Over The Hedge, Discworld, Hollow Knight, or Thumbelina.
New players are welcome. The GM is also new to this system. Pregenerated characters are provided to pick from.

“Curse of the Chicken-Foot Witch” is a Standard Oneshot in the Land of Eem system, led by Nona.
System pitch: Land of Eem is often pitched as LOTR meets the Muppets. It's a pretty lighthearted fantasy game about adventurers exploring and discovering the remnants of a forgotten, better age. The game emphasizes player creativity and collaborative storytelling, with character abilities that allow players to invent and shape the world around them. Play is more about roleplaying, teamwork, exploration, and finding lost treasures than it is about always fighting monsters...though that's definitely part of the game! It's a whimsical and almost cozy post-apocalyptic fantasy experience. It has the usual fantasy tropes, such as lore-seeking travelers, fortune-seeking pioneers, and adventure-seeking heroes in a time devoid of them. But in the Land of Eem, you can play as various unique and colorful characters such as a Gelatinous Goo, Bogril (frog), Shrym (fluffier shrew), Boggart, or Gnome!
Session pitch: As if there wasn’t enough trouble and turmoil in the Mucklands realm, rumor has it that an infamous witch is wreaking havoc in the Used T’Be Forest. Making matters worse, the local folk hero dedicated to ending the witch’s reign of terror has gone missing. With no one left to stop her, Chara the Chicken-Foot Witch has petrified the locals with fear. As for the hero, a gnome named L. Dorothy Sandwich, she was last seen at the local watering hole: “Wally’s Waffles and Weorgs.” This is where your characters start their search and journey.
This game will be great if you like The Muppets, Labyrinth, Adventure Time, The Hobbit, LOTR, and Delicious in Dungeon.

“Pride & Prejudice & Centipedes” is a Standard Oneshot in the Household system, led by Nona
Household is a TTRPG filled with adventure, intrigue, and social interactions set in a large abandoned House. Well, abandoned by us humans, that is. The house has become a world of its own for tiny folk called Littlings. As players, you take on the role of those Littlings, who represent all sorts of beings from European folklore, such as fairies, boggarts, and elemental spirits. Each room in the house is basically its own nation with a whole new landscape, customs, and culture for you to explore! Together you'll go on to live little great adventures taking place after the First Household War ended. Peace is fragile, but it is a magical period when all Folk came together in new alliances despite old disagreements, a time of ideological and industrial revolutions. All this, always still on the brink of a diplomatic incident, of course.
Adventures can take all shapes and forms, from taking part in the great ball on top of the Chandelier to investigating on the disappearance of a precious bumblebee or simply trying to cross the Long Hallway and facing its pitfalls! In today's adventure, your Littlings all convene at the Blue Rat, a small tavern in Stairside, where they’ll be involved in an investigation of the Great Imperial Army. Can you get to the bottom of this mystery? Play to find out!
Mechanically, it uses the Director's Cut system, a D6 dice pool where you're trying to get matches (pairs, three-of-a-kind, etc.).
This game will be great if you like fey and other small folk, folklore, The Borrowers, Root, Under Hill By Water, Outgunned, and the Broken Compass.
New players are welcome.
The game runner is fairly new to this system.
Pregenerated characters are provided to pick from.

“The Falling Lief Favourites Contest” is a Standard Oneshot in the Cottage Core Critters system, led by Nona
System pitch: You are a group of Cottage Core Critters, anthropomorphic animals who have gotten away from a busier life to a small town in the countryside. Out here, the breeze is fresh, and the meadow flowers glow golden as the sun slowly sinks beyond the horizon. The gentle sounds of nature wash over weary travellers as they are greeted by the scent of fresh baked goods from stalls and shops along the main street. Life is merry and full of little comforts for you and your cosy commune of Cottage Critters. The air is thick with excitement as your small town is most likely preparing for one of the many seasonal festivals or events. Everything should be fine, as long as the strange things going bump in the night or the weird lights at the edge of the woods mean nothing... right? The game uses a D6 dicepool system and encourages interactive roleplaying, building friendships & overcoming fears.
Scenario pitch: Today it is time for the Fallen Lief's autumn artisan festival. Your Critters plan to compete in the Favourites Contest, and you're putting your best goods forward to every V.I.Paw for this year's theme: Sweet and Unique. Stake out the competition, try to get to know the judges, and make the very best display case you can! While you are getting ready, something unexpected happens and you are soon taken on a much larger and possibly more dangerous adventure! The adventure ends with a mad rush to finish their display and present it to the judges. Can you save the day and still get back in time to compete? Play to find out!

Heart of the Mangrove
Session pitch: Deep within the mangrove swamp lies a lair hidden among twisted roots and heavy mist: the domain of Alabástrea, the snake of a thousand spells. Ambitious and vain, she transforms her own scales into vessels of magic, hoarding stolen spells like a living treasure. Under her command, fanatical crabs and small servants roam the mangrove to plunder nearby villages, demanding or forcefully taking tablets and magical artifacts. Each loot reinforces her power, and the mangrove seems to react to it like a tense body about to burst. You decide you must act now and try to stop her, before it's too late and all is lost... Can you? Play to find out!
About Mausritter: The settled mice huddle together, hidden in their settlements in trees and burrows and walls, scraping and saving. A tenuous existence. You are not like those settled mice. By choice or by necessity, you are an adventurer. You live by your luck, your smarts, your bravery. With your friends by your side, you will abandon the warmth and safety of the mouse settlements and venture forth into the dark and dangerous places where other mice do not dare to tread. There is great wealth to be found by those who are willing to take it. It's a huge and dangerous world out there. It does not look kindly on a small mouse. But if you are very brave, very clever, and just a bit lucky, you might be able to survive. And if you survive long enough, you might even become a hero amongst mice.
This game will be great if you like Redwall, The Rescuers, Over the Hedge, Mice & Mystics, OSR style RPGs.
Character creation is very quick and involves just a few random rolls. We'll do this together at the start of the session.
This session will be especially good for new players.

“Cozy Chaos in a World of Whimsy” a Standard Oneshot in the Riverbank system, led by Nona.
Tea, Poetry, and Total Disaster!
RiverBank is a TTRPG that blends a cozy feel with crunchier mechanics, whereas many such games are very rules-light. RiverBank is meant to be a cozy place where, despite the fluster and fuss of a situation, Animals mostly just enjoy their lives, going on sledding parties, walking their pets, learning French cookery, and listening for the first cuckoo of spring. But that doesn't mean life is boring! From appalling relatives to town gossip to actual hazards, there is always something going on to shake things up.
In Riverbank, you join an intelligent society of anthropomorphic Animals and enter their life of cake and teatime by the slow part of the river. Here, the charm of cottagecore meets the delight of sophisticated critters as they navigate polite Animal society. Your character choices drive the story. Weave farcical or dramatic tales of elegant characters celebrating friendships, navigating social niceties, and weathering the unique dynamics of Animal life. Attend tea parties, stroll through gardens, and win the prize at the village fair, all while trying to dodge difficult relatives and keeping a stiff upper lip. And don't forget to balance your Animality and Poetry sides, because if you fall too far into one side or the other, total disaster may follow!
This game will be great if you like Wind in the Willows, Beatrix Potter, Winnie the Pooh, Bridgerton, Good Society, The Secret of Nihm, The Brambly Hedge, the Bastable series, or Chuubo's Marvelous Wish-Granting Engine.
Players new to the system are welcome, as long as they have a decent amount of TTRPG experience; it is less suitable for complete novices.

“Resort Island” is a Standard One Shot in the Deathmatch Island system led by Nona
Deathmatch Island explores the idea of a cruel system that uses paranoia and competitiveness to turn competitors against one another, and whether those victims will ultimately destroy each other or build the solidarity needed to smash the system together. You are Competitors who have been dropped onto an island for this strange and scary game with only vague memories. You will forge relationships with your fellow teammates, negotiate alliances with other competitors, compete in deadly contests, earn rewards, and make your way towards a thrilling endgame. Along the way, you'll narrate flashbacks to your competitor's mysterious past, giving everyone insight into what motivates them in the present. Ultimately, the competitors will progress through the island until the final Stand Off. Will you play to win? Or will you try to break the game? While this is a brutal game about survival, you are mostly trying to work together for survival against rival groups. However, PvP is possible in the endgame. It is also important to know that it uses a zoomed-out single-roll resolution system and time skips. Be prepared to take turns narrating outcomes for group scenes, often switching between what happened in the scene and your character's private confessionals in front of a camera, recorded after the fact so the audience can see what happened. This all shows how reality TV shows only show certain interesting bits, along with montage sequences, rather than every single moment. Today, you'll play on Resort Island, an idyllic-looking island that was once a former resort for the rich and powerful. Complete with white sand beaches and peaceful-looking lagoons, theme park attractions, luxury entertainments, and even the usual bit of cultural appropriation. But this peaceful-looking island will soon reveal a whole array of deadly games. Ready or not, here you go!
This game will be great if you like Battle Royale, Squid Game, The Hunger Games, FantasticLand, Black Mirror, and/or reality TV.
New players to the system are welcome, but they need to have overall TTRPG experience and be comfortable narrating (parts of) a scene on their own.
You will get to roll up a character ahead of time, guided by the GM.

“Hammer of the Earth” a Standard One Shot in The Ultimate Micro-RPG Book system. Led by Nona de Koning.
For the city to survive, it must move. Hammer of the Earth is an adventure game about humans who worship the last machine in a world ruled by vines. You are Outriders, individuals who ensure the fuel supply for Hammer. It's the last bastion of civilization in the form of a gargantuan train, each carriage housing ten thousand souls, navigating an endless network of tracks. If the train stops, they are all doomed. The Navigator (GM) picked you from your various factions to keep the train moving. Presented with a limited clock and numerous obstacles, can you get back in time? Success or failure, you must all work together, even if in the end only one of you is held responsible for the outcome... Hammer of the Earth is part of The Ultimate Micro-RPG Book, an anthology of 2-page games. This means it's very rules-light and very easy to learn, but players should be comfortable using their own imagination without many rules to hold on to. This game will be great if you like rules-light adventures, countdown clocks, an impending sense of doom and trying desperately to be the hero when everything seems to be against you.

“The Magistrate's Gambit”, a Standard One Shot in the Dragonbane system
Dragonbane is a classic fantasy TTRPG, OSR/NSR in spirit and full of magic, mystery, and adventure. Carefully explore, creatively solve problems, and treat combat like the dangerous thing it is! Dragonbane is designed from the ground up to facilitate fast and furious play, with room for laughs at the table, while still offering brutal challenges for the adventurers.
Archmage Kalisial has a bet with Magistrate Stalomer. In their youth, the two of them came upon a magical necklace. To decide who gets to wear it, they meet once a year for a game of smickleboard. Kalisial always wins. For the first ten years, Stalomer thought he would be victorious. He practiced with masters and studied classic games, but still lost every time. Now Stalomer wants to win just once before he departs this life. In recent years, Stalomer has been studying the artifacts Kalisial wears during their games. She always wears a wig that hides her scalp, a pair of gilded spectacles, and carries an exquisite game board of onyx and silver with expertly carved, ruby-encrusted pieces. Stalomer believes these three artifacts are why Kalisial keeps winning. He has therefore had replicas made of these items, and you have been tasked with replacing the artifacts with the replicas before the party begins.
Today you'll play the Magistrate's Gambit scenario, designed specifically for convention play. Players will need to work together to complete their quest in just two hours, as the IC part has a strict time limit! The session is scheduled for 3 hours to allow for introducing characters, teaching, a midway break, and a short wrap-up revealing your score! The latter is just a fun nod to those old-school tournament-style games, as always, telling a good story together is more important 🙂

“The Sinking Tower” is a Standard One-Shot in the Dragonbane system. Led by Nona de Koning.
The sea wind howls, and the smell of seaweed and decay stings your noses. You pull your cloaks tighter around you as the rowboat cuts through the restless sea towards your destination. Then the fog clears, revealing the sinking tower rising from the water. This is the moment you have all been waiting for, the day when the enchanted stone tower said to have been built by a mad mage rises from the sea once more. It only happens once every twenty years, according to the fishermen around the inn’s warming hearth, and only stays above water for two hours. Then it sinks back into the deep along with its treasures. There is a ghostly green light glowing ominously at the top of the tower. That is where the sorcerer’s emerald is said to be. Perhaps you will be the first to find it? Today, you'll play the Sunken Tower scenario, which Free League designed specifically for convention play. Players will need to work together to solve puzzles, win battles, and find valuable treasures. And all that in just two hours, given the IC part's strict time limit! “Welcome to Hekaton” a Standard One Shot in the Legacy: Life Among Ruins system. Led by Nona de Koning.
System Pitch Legacy: Life Among the Ruins is a PbtA game about the survivors of a reality-twisting apocalypse, and how they adapt to and rebuild their new world. Unique is the shift between a zoomed-out overview of your setting across multiple generations and a zoomed-in play of individual scenes. Every player gets two different playbooks, one for their family and one for their character. When your own character isn't in a scene, you can grab one of the quick characters and guest-star in someone else's family! As you play, you’ll move between the family and character levels, zooming in to play through a short adventure with a group of characters and then zooming out to show the broad strokes of your family pursuing their agenda. Your family (i.e., faction) is a collection of survivors brought together by blood, loyalty, or ideology, each with their own strange powers, hard-earned through surviving the apocalypse. They have their own needs, strengths, and doctrine, and you will use their forces to conduct diplomacy, claim resources, and use subterfuge on other factions. Families act slowly, taking days or weeks to take action. You’ll also have an individual character - a particular member of your family who is your story’s focus. They’re in a position to change the course of the family’s history, whether the family intended to give them that power or not. They’ll have their own skills and powers, as well as the ability to command the family’s forces and resources. They’re more flexible than a family, able to act in a matter of moments and call on their friends from other factions for aid. If you play beyond a one-shot, your character's choices can even impact their family for many generations to come!
Session Pitch: Welcome to Hekaton. This world was meant to be paradise. From the first probe flyby, we heard incredible tales of lush jungles, pristine oceans, and fantastic beasts. Our ancestors landed, and there were some teething problems, for sure. The space elevator took longer than expected to build, and the ambient spores caused widespread illness before we worked out the source. Solutions were found, and the colony was prospering. Then the titans came. Maybe they were always there, slumbering in the jungle. Maybe they’re agents of the planet’s immune system, generated to wipe out our infestation. Maybe the research complexes out there in the jungle made something strange that they couldn’t control. They struck like a hammer blow. Towering beasts several stories tall surged out of the jungle, tearing apart our city. With a snap heard around the world, a titan shattered the diamond filaments of the space elevator. We fled into our bunkers or deep into the wild as its shards crashed down, gouging deep furrows in the land. With victory achieved, the beasts melted back into the jungle. We don’t know why nobody’s rescued us. Maybe they think the colony’s dead. Maybe they’ve fallen to their own apocalypse. All we know is that we’re stranded down here, finding homes in the ruins of our grandparents’ palaces. But still we look to the stars, and dream of a life free from the titans.

Shadowdark is a OSR/NSR style game where the world is dangerous, you are no big hero and both your character's supplies and your own creative problem-solving are an important part of survival rather than abilities on a character sheet. It pitches itself as modernized oldschool gaming, fast, familiar, intuitive, and deadly. Built for sword-and-sorcery adventures where fell monsters slither in darkness and ancient gems glint upon forgotten thrones, waiting to be discovered. A unique feature is that torches flame out in real-time, making adventures full of tension! Balance staying on the move with taking your time to plan ahead, all to stay alive.
You may have heard of DCC funnels, where each player runs several 0-level characters through an adventure, hoping at least 1 survives and becomes a full-fledged Level 1 Character. Shadowdark's Gauntlets use the same principle, but each turn you pick only 1 of your characters to act with instead of all at once, less multitasking! Once one perishes, the next one will show up to take their place!
Today's Gauntlet is called Trial of the Slime Lord. This cursed dungeon serves as a sort of crucible for an ooze-worshiping cult. Those who survive are granted a boon from the Slime Lord. Those who do not, wander the halls as the unquiet dead, doomed to serve the ooze for eternity. The player characters have just been kidnapped from their village and thrown in a pit to face the Trial of the Slime Lord. The adventure begins as the cultists slide a heavy stone lid over an opening in the ceiling. With nothing more than their wits and the clothes on their backs, they must escape or die! Are you brave enough to attempt it?
This game will be great if you like OSR/NSR style RPGs, creative problem-solving, dungeon crawls.
You'll be handed a set of four pregenerated 0-level characters.
New players are welcome. The GM is new to this system, but very familiar with NSR games.

“Alice is Missing”, a Standard oneshot in the Alice is Missing system.
An immersive RPG played entirely via text message. This is a silent role-playing game about the disappearance of Alice Briarwood, a high school junior in the small town of Silent Falls. Hauntingly beautiful, deeply personal, and highly innovative, Alice is Missing focuses on the emotional engagement between players, immersing them in a tense, dramatic mystery that unfolds organically through the text messages they exchange. Important: The goal is not to solve the mystery. Cliffhanger endings are very possible. The goal is to tell a story that explores the complicated relationships and motivations we all create during the setup; Alice's disappearance is just the backdrop for all of that. The session will start with some setup to gather more details about your characters, certain NPCs, and locations around town. We'll also go over the very simple rules and discuss safety tools. Players will also record their character's last voicemail to Alice before she disappeared, but in secret.
The setup phase is followed by the in-character part of the game, which is played without any verbal communication throughout the 90-minute play session. This is accompanied by its own timed soundtrack and timed card prompts to guide us. Instead of talking, you send text messages back and forth to the other characters in a group chat as well as private chats. Characters aren’t in the same place together; they're talking through their phones. After the timer runs out, we'll reveal and listen to the voicemails together, still in silence. This game can pack a pretty emotional punch, so we'll end our session by debriefing out-of-character and discussing the session in our voice channel to wrap things up. The cast of characters is pre-existing but involves some customization.
Character selection is handled ahead of time.
Due to the required setup, this game will take place in its own Discord server made just for our session. We'll also have the soundtrack open on YouTube and use a simple https://playingcards.io/ setup to draw and reveal cards when prompted.

“Minions and Mayhem” is a standard one-shot in the For the Dungeon system, led by Nona
For the Dungeon! is a short comedy role-playing game that takes inspiration from PbtA and Fate. You play as minions protecting their dungeon. They serve without question and seek to accomplish their leader’s goals to the best of their abilities. Often, this means venturing out beyond the dungeon to spread their agenda. Charging into danger with reckless abandon and causing mayhem is all in a day’s work. Characters are quite freeform and have no stats, but instead have traits. These Traits should be short phrases that describe your character’s Talent, Tool, and Motivation. You also get Shiny to buy any sort of item you can imagine may be useful and a special Perk to make you stand out from the pack. Players should attempt to embody what it means to be a minion. Feel free to explore wild and crazy ideas when it comes to your character. This game is designed to lean into the ridiculous. It has a strong emphasis on improvisation, but offers plenty of tools to help you with that!
This game will be great if you like PbtA, Fate, comedy, improv, minions, and mayhem.
Players should figure out their character concepts ahead of time; the game runner will prompt you a day or two ahead of time to do so.
This game is especially good for new players

Drained Temple of the Brackish Basin is a Standard One-Shot in the Mausritter system, led by Nona.
Brineford is a small settlement on the shore of a saltwater pond known as the Brackish Basin. Its inhabitants have built their buildings from river stones, woven reeds, and mud under the protective umbrella of a small cascade of water that feeds the pond from the freshwater Goldenfork river.
When a group of beavers builds a dam upstream, the protective waterfall and the pond dry out, along with Brineford’s livelihood. As the citizens of Brineford try to negotiate with the beavers to restore the river, they discover something else: an ancient stone door at the bottom of the drained pond. What can be inside, and does it hold the secret of the saltwater?
It's up to your group of brave adventurers to venture inside and find out!
This game will be great if you like Redwall, The Rescuers, The Hobbit, Over The Hedge, Thumbelina, OSR style RPGs.

The Rosewood Crown
Perils & Princesses is a game of gritty & pretty fairy tale adventure. Steel your resolve, gather your grace and sharpen your wits, and you might just live…Happily Ever After.
Play as Princesses who don't need saving, they'll be their own heroes! With magical Gifts from their Fairy Godmothers to aid them in their quest through the enchanted forest, they set out. With bright sword in hand, they faced threats and saved the realm time and time again. Can they do it once more? Once upon a time, there was a Princess named Elysia, who ruled over the humble village of Willowbrook nestled amidst the lush embrace of the forest. The villagers of Willowbrook revered Princess Elysia. She was their guardian. Her Rosewood Crown, a gift from her Fairy Godmother, gave her the ability to channel the powers of nature and protect the villagers from harm. But even in the most enchanting of tales, darkness has a way of slithering into the hearts of the unsuspecting. A cruel conjurer, Velesar, preyed upon the Princess's kindness. He stole the Princess's crown for his own nefarious purposes and broke her heart. Vanishing into the depths of the forest, the sorcerer left no trace behind, leaving the Princess bereft, her heart heavy with sorrow. Ages passed, and the crown was forgotten. The only relic of Princess Elysia is a moss-covered statue in the town square, with Elysia's mournful likeness carved in stone. A Princess without a crown. Recently, strange occurrences have been frightening the villagers. Crops suddenly rot. Groups of deer and rabbits flee the nearby forest. Reports of strange sounds and mysterious disappearances put everyone on edge. Furthermore, each of you has plagued by the same dream—you see visions of Princess Elysia beckoning you to a giant tree in a clearing deep in the forest. It's time to find the Rosewood Crown.

“Sal Has Written A Play” is a Living World One Shot in the Yazeba's Bed & Breakfast system. Led by Nona de Koning
Today we're going to start with a Chapter where Sal has written a play, likely about some dungeoneering to fit this month's Pickup Con theme About the system: Welcome to Yazeba's Bed & Breakfast, a sprawling old house outside time and space, where it’s always September 15th and there’s always room for a new visitor. The unusual blend of premade characters, modular rules, and legacy mechanics makes this TTRPG perfect for pick-up play: busy players can drop in and out without ever feeling lost, and anyone who wants to jump in can make a long-term impact without a long-term commitment. Yazeba's is yours to change. Perhaps Residents will leave or change, Guests will become far more important than you expected, or Journeys will take unexpected twists. Take control of one of the 7 long-term residents of the B&B or choose from a cast of 50 quirky guests, each of whom has their own ongoing storylines. Chapters can be played in any order and include things like lazy afternoons, frightful nights, insurmountable chores, and zany competitions, so every adventure is full of surprises. When we were little, we were taught that a story is a sequence of events with a beginning, middle and end. But that’s not how all stories work: some loop around on themselves, some are told out of sequence, and some never end. After we play one Chapter, we can play another without worrying too much about whether it came before or after the Chapter we just played, or how much time has passed. Think back on that prolific paperback series you may have once read: you might have missed a few issues, or read them out of order, but you were always able to figure out what was going on. That's what Yazeba's is going for! There are many different types of Chapters to suit different moods and player counts.
This game will be great if you like legacy board games, trying different things, and collaborative storytelling.
New players are welcome. Players need to have played some RPGs. The game runner is well-versed in this system.

“Kobold Quest: Crazy Contraptions” a Standard One Shot in the Goblin Quest system, led by Nona.
Goblin Quest is a TTRPG by Grant Howitt about slapstick violence, fatal ineptitude, and the greatest adventure of your life.. Doodle and play five goblins each (in sequence, not parallel) and watch them one by one meet hilarious ends. This time, we're playing a hack, but the goal is the same: You’ll steer them through (or, more commonly, directly into) adversity, and you’ll have a fun time doing it. Will they survive the dangerous world and complete all their silly quest? Probably not. But you'll have fun finding out! The pitch for Kobold Quest: You live in the Underdungeon, a sprawling network of disused mines, mysterious tunnels, natural caves, and underground seas. At the centre of it all is the Mighty Dragon King, sitting on his pile of gold, with legions of kobolds under his direct command. Your lord and master The Mighty Dragon King has called upon your collected gangs to fulfill his next whim. Of course, the best solution to any problem (as all kobolds know) is to build an over-complicated contraption to solve it for you. You’ll all work together to build a Contraption, then push the big red button(s) and watch everything go swimmingly horribly wrong. Come up with your components, set out to gather/steal them, assemble it and most likely lose many Kobolds in the process.
This game will be great if you like drawing, kobolds, Mouse Trap, weird inventions, shenanigans, harebrained schemes, saturday morning cartoons, Grant Howitt's games Note: drawing your Kobolds and random items for the contraption is a required part of gameplay. These will be quick doodles so not artistic skill needed, think crappy MS Paint levels and you are fine :P This can be done digitally or on paper. If drawing on paper, please be prepared to take photos (using a smartphone or similar device) and share/upload them in our game's thread on Discord.

“Recipe for Disaster” is a Standard one-shot in the Wilderfeast system led by Nona,
Hunter. Ranger. Keeper. Chef.
In Wilderfeast, you are a Wilder. You are human, though you might not look like it, as with every hunt, you incorporate part of another monster into yourself. Once upon a time, the first Wilder dedicated their lives to containing the Frenzy, the incurable curse that amplifies hunger, pain, and rage in a vicious cycle. But despite their best efforts, it now circulates with virulent speed across the One Land. Wilders spend their time between hunting monsters that cannot be saved and helping those that can. As the Frenzy spreads, the Wilders fight to maintain harmony between humanity and nature. They kill the creatures they must, nurture the ones they can, and consume the ones they fail to save. In doing so, Wilders transform into half-human chimeras, for like all monsters, they derive their power from the One Law of the One Land: You are what you eat.
The game offers a nice blend of exploration, roleplay, and combat in its gameplay loop: Travel and discover plants and monsters in the One Land. Forage and cook meals. Track and hunt down a frenzied monster. Honor its sacrifice with a feast that will forever change you (literally!) In today's adventure, poachers have captured the Wilders, along with several wild monsters they hope to sell to the Charter. But one caged monster has the frenzy and escapes! To secure their own freedom, to keep the infection from spreading, and to ensure no one else gets hurt, the Wilders must band together and hunt it down.

“Root and Branch” is a Standard One Shot in the Mappa Mundi system led by Nona
The Mappa Mundi Institute has dedicated itself and its Chroniclers to a single mission with three interconnected pillars. First, to travel the world, learning and writing the history of its peoples after the Flux. Second, to find, study, and protect the Monsters and Creatures that call the Wilds their home. And third, to go beyond the borders of the old and map the new.
Mappa Mundi - An Exploration + Ecology RPG is a TTRPG about exploring a world recovering from a century of ecological disaster and cultural isolation, a world populated by fantastical Monsters and Creatures that roam the Wilds, a world shaped by Fate. Leave your sword at home, Chronicler! A sharp mind and a curious spirit are the only weapons you’ll need. You are Archivists, Diviners, Fixers, and Guardians. Having sworn an oath to Do No Harm, your main mission is to find and learn about Monsters and Creatures, enigmatic beings who usually inhabit the Wilds, lands beyond the bounds of human civilization. This is a game without combat and character death. Your actions include Traversal, Observation, Deduction, and Exploration. But just because Chroniclers won’t die from getting in a fight or venturing too close to a Monster or Creature doesn’t mean they cannot contract sickness, become injured, or fall unconscious, so explore with caution! Each adventure has three phases: Research, Journey, and Encounter. Research is marked by investigation, information gathering, and discovery. Journey focuses on exploration, overcoming obstacles, and Shaping the environment. Finally, there is the Encounter, marked by positioning, understanding, problem-solving, and close contact with Monsters. An important part of the game is its Shaping, a collaborative storytelling mechanic. It is the process of Chroniclers and Narrators giving form and substance to the environment around them, of adding details, minor or major, to the places, people, Monsters, and Creatures the Narrator introduces. It also allows players to introduce ideas and creations to a scene. Be prepared to immerse yourself into a world that is involves parts of your own creation! As you explore and play, you are encouraged to draw on the map, sketch, and journal. Today's introductory oneshot is called Root and Branch, and its hook reads: Barbecia is a kingdom of dense forests, rolling hills, and swirling rivers, located on the far western edge of the continent of Evasu. You and your fellow Chroniclers have been tasked with learning of a Monster hiding in the midst of a quiet enclave, a small rain-soaked village known as Gascar. You must go in search of a ‘moving forest’ – perhaps the source of the fog that has descended on Gascar.

“Tiny Bugs In a Big World” is a Standard one-shot in the Pico system led by Nona.
Let me tell you a story.
The Mysteriocalypse has been termed, by some bugly historians, as the 'end of an age of order', and perhaps nowhere is this more evident than within the transparent confines of the Skyglass Dome.
Pico is the newest release by Felix Isaacs, based off the same engine as his award-winning game The Wildsea, with a few little bugly twists thrown in to keep things fresh! It is a fiction-first system about playing as tiny bugs in a huge world where humans have disappeared entirely. The game's themes are Cute, Weird, Community, Creativity and Adventure. It is a game about solving tiny problems, most often in creative ways and often without violence.
This game will be great if you like exploration, creative problem solving, playing small creatures in a big world, The Wildsea, Mausritter, Redwall, The Rescuers, The Hobbit, Over The Hedge, Discworld, Hollow Knight, or Thumbelina.

"Ghost Beetle Blues” is a Standard One-Shot in the Mausritter system led by Nona,
Session pitch: There is a disturbance in the Pet Cemetery. The dead rise from their graves, wandering among the tombstones. Something sinister is going on, but what's causing all of this? Runi the Moon Witch, a mourner of every unsettled soul, has come to the cemetery to sing the Blues of Moonlit Rest. This should solve the disturbance, but things have gone wrong, and she cannot do it alone! In a dream, she came to you for help. Now the adventurers must brave the cemetery, figure out what's causing these disturbances, and aid Runi in completing her ritual, before it is too late... But if you are very brave and very clever and just a bit lucky, you might be able to survive. And if you survive long enough, you might even become a hero amongst mice.

“Resort Island” is a Standard One Shot in the Deathmatch Island system led by Nona.
Be prepared to take turns narrating outcomes for group scenes, often switching between what happened in the scene and your character's private confessionals in front of a camera, taped after the fact as the audience gets to view what happened. This all works to represent how reality TV shows only show certain interesting bits, along with montage sequences, and not every single moment.
This game will be great if you like Battle Royale, Squid Game, The Hunger Games, FantasticLand, Black Mirror and/or reality TV.
New players to the system are welcome, but they need to have overall TTRPG experience and be comfortable narrating (parts of) a scene on their own.

Take one more step to crest the rise, and look towards the horizon: out there, in new and fantastical lands, your next big adventure awaits! Though you have set out on this journey with your friends, your closest companion is the monster at your side. Welcome to the world of JourneyMon! This PbtA-based game takes inspiration from Pokémon and other similar anime. It plays just like a TV show/cartoon, where each session is a single Episode split into three parts: the Prologue, the Show, and the Epilogue. Everyone, including the GM, gets to go on a journey of discovery as we start each episode by taking turns answering prompts about our region and its inhabitants. In this Pilot Episode called Mount & Mana, player trainers are attending a fun competition at the beach, but the stakes quickly change! Before they know it, they must avert a volcanic disaster at the Mon Loa holiday resort instead! Will you succeed? Play to find out! This game will be great if you like having a pet companion, Pokémon, Digimon, PbtA games. New players are welcome. The GM is also new to this. You can pick a Playbook/Trainer Type and customize your trainer ahead of time. You may also come up with the details of your partner Mon if you want, or you can ask the GM to make one up for you.

"On the Hill" a Standard One Shot in the Liminal Horror system, led by Nona de Koning
Liminal Horror is a rules-lite, adaptable Survival-Horror roleplaying game about regular characters and their struggles against the things that go bump in the night. The game focuses on surviving the weird and investigating horrors while blending simple, old-school-inspired rules with modern, narrative first principles. Survival is not guaranteed, and those who do make it through are often forever changed. Liminal Horror is not a game about solving mysteries, but rather surviving them. This time, you're all going to explore a state park where uncanny things keep happening. Can you make it back out alive? Play to find out! It does not matter if the new signs read “Gareth Pines State Park.” The locals will always call it The Hill, and they will always say it with a wary glance out the window. The trail maps and spray-painted blazes have done nothing to allay their superstitious fear of The Hill and its abandoned monastery. But the tourists still come. Whispered warnings at the gas station will not stop them from venturing out into the woods. The junkyard full of abandoned cars with out-of-state license plates will not stop them from seeking out the ruins on The Hill. And the tattered “Missing Person” flyers will not stop them from going missing themselves...
This game will be great if you like exploration, investigative horror, playing as ordinary people, doom clocks, OSR and NSR games.
New players welcome.
Pre-generated character templates are provided to pick from.

"Live, Laugh, Die" a Standard One Shot in the Bad Decisions system, led by Nona de Koning
Bad Decisions is a very rules-light GMless game of lighthearted comedic horror. One where we each become the kind of hapless characters the audience shouts “NO! DON’T GO IN THERE!” to when they appear in a movie. In traditional role-playing games, you often want to do the smartest, safest thing to survive. Here, we like our heroes curious, irresponsible, and extremely mortal. The whole point of Bad Decisions is to get yourselves killed doing something terribly idiotic. Players take turns narrating and making Bad Decisions until, at the midway point, you are no longer just hinting at danger: danger is pretty much chasing you through a cornfield with a machete. Maybe literally. And from there, things start to move fast. We shift our focus from narration to a modified version of Liar's Dice, where anyone who gets eliminated gets…err…eliminated. Soon it’s head-to-head with just two players left. One will be the so-called Final Girl, but it turns out the other has been the Secret Mastermind all along! Be prepared to make Bad Decisions for your own character and to help narrate terrible endings for the other characters once things inevitably go terribly wrong.
This game is perfect for fans of collaborative storytelling, improv, horror movie tropes, and making bad decisions.
No preparation is needed.

“Parsely: Spooky Manor” a Standard One Shot in the Parsely system. Led by Nona de Koning
The job was simple: deliver a package to the reclusive resident of a mysterious mansion. But all is not as it seems…. Lord Spooky’s mansion is full of mystery and danger and who knows what else?!
Before the first 3D video game came out, all video games were text-based adventures. These were simple scenarios with limited interactions. The player would type their actions into the game, and if it was a valid command, the game would respond with new content.
Players will take control of a character together and the GM will play as the parser and control the computer processing your commands. Players will alternate giving commands like GO NORTH, LIGHT LAMP or GET SWORD, which the GM will follow to the best of the imaginary computer's ability. There’s no limit to the number of people that can play and no limit to the fun. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to unplug from your computer and plug into Parsely! Don't forget to hit SAVE and be mindful, because 3 deaths means GAME OVER! ;-) "
This game will be great if you like choose-your-own-adventure books, 80s computer RPGs, and Super Mario.
Players will control a single nameless player character together as a group
This session will be especially good for new players. New players are welcome.

The Haunting of Waddle Manor
"The Haunting of Waddle Manor” a Standard One Shot in the Beakwood Bay system, Saturday, October 25, 2025 3:30 AM, lasting 3.5 hours, 2-4 players
About the game system: Beakwood Bay is a PbtA/Carved from Brindlewood roleplaying game for 2-4 ducks and a Keeper (GM), but not just any ducks. Inspired by Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge comics, in this hack of Brindlewood Bay, you play as bipedal Mallards hired to hunt down treasure instead of solving mysteries. Beakwood Bay is a thriving port city inhabited by all sorts of anthropomorphic animals, where anything can happen and adventure is always on the agenda. The city’s aesthetics are rooted in the early 20th Century, but there are all manner of scientific advancements, such as an experimental rocketpad, a bustling university, and many factories. The oligarchs who control these technology-focused businesses often act as patrons for working ducks and adventurous mallards. No one comes to Beakwood Bay without a plan of how to leave richer. But there’s a curse that comes with this pursuit, and many fall victim to the so-called Coin Fever. Ducks who are sitting on vaults of gold are frequently cruel and miserly in later years, pushing away family and friends to slavishly protect the gold they’ve acquired. But for now, you are just a Middle Class Mallard who dreams of adventure with your friends. Your ducks work in the service of the city’s wealthy benefactors, trying to make a fortune to call their own, all while working to avoid the crippling greed and exploitation that is rampant among the city’s elite. Hindered by NPCs after the same treasure, players do their best to gather clues (represented as helpful information and tools that can be used to recover the treasure) before finally trying to retrieve it. There is no prewritten canon path or method; instead, it's up to you to cleverly combine all that you've found to obtain the treasure! Will you succeed? Play to find out!
Waddle Manor has long been a source of spooky rumors and adolescent dares. Wilbur Waddle, the owner of the manor, died just two weeks ago, and his decrepit home is stuffed with the artifacts he acquired on adventures in life, with nearly every square foot filled with artifacts, bric-a-brac, books, or photos. It is a dark and stormy night, the kind no duck in their right mind would walk in the middle of. You, however, have been called. Each of you received a personalized letter, asking you to come to Waddle Manor up on Greenfeather Hill as soon as possible and be prepared to spend the night. You arrive to find others already there, and a short while later, the doors suddenly lock, seemingly by themselves. What is going on here and can you escape from Waddle Manor? Come find out in this spooky oneshot, if you dare! This game will be great if you like Ducktales, Scooby Doo, ghost stories, cartoons, comic books, Brindlewood Bay, PbtA games, and collaborative storytelling. Players should build characters ahead. Character creation is a quick and easy multiple-choice process. The game runner will contact players in advance to share handouts (rules reference & character sheets) and make your selections.
New players are welcome.
Players should have experience with some RPGs.

"Under the Weather" a Standard One Shot in the Bump in the Dark system, led by Nona de Koning,
“Bump in the Dark” is a Forged in the Dark (FitD) game about people hunting monsters in a fictionalized version of a mid-90s US mining town. Each player plays one of these monster hunters in a group that already knows each other. You will gather clues, piece them together, and solve a supernatural mystery, for which there is no predefined solution. This usually ends in a final showdown with some monster(s), your success partially depending on the earlier investigation. Consider shows like X-Files and Buffy, which feature supernatural mystery and action. The setting is quite dark and gritty, but not bleak. There are still moments of slice-of-life, humor, and levity, balancing out the supernatural horror. The game also has a strong message about the value of community and people in the town, particularly player characters, working together to make their town the best it can be and to stand against the darkness. Play to find out how the hunters survive as the stakes grow higher around them. Will they put the pieces together in time to save the day? Today's scenario is called Under the Weather, where local citizen Joe Halazia has been found dead in his home near Guilty River. However, all doors and windows of his house were locked from the inside. The state of the body indicates that this wasn’t a natural death, and it’s decaying at a supernatural rate. You will have to investigate soon, but there’s a problem: the weather forecast predicts that a huge storm is about to hit Last Pine.
This game will be great if you like the supernatural, Monster of the Week, the X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, chosen family, investigation, showdowns, PbtA, and FitD games.
The GM will contact players to select and customize characters ahead of time.
New players welcome.

"Lovecraftesque" a Standard One Shot in the Lovecraftesque system, led by Nona,
Lovecraftesque is a GMless storytelling game of creeping cosmic horror, emulating the tone and pace of eldritch horror stories. As a group, we'll tell the story of a single character, who stumbles upon clues to a terrible evil. It creates slow-building, brooding horror that the main character at first dismisses, until all too suddenly it becomes impossible to deny. The ending will certainly be bleak, and the main character is likely to meet their doom. The game will use cards to guide us. Together we’ll build up a creepy eldritch mystery, one Clue at a time. At the start of the game, we only introduce subtle Clues, so the horror increases gradually, but as the game progresses, we’ll unlock scarier and more bizarre Clues. The truth behind the mystery is only revealed at the end, but we can brainstorm theories explaining the Clues as we play. During gameplay, we rotate between different roles. The active player will be the Narrator, whose job is to describe the world around the main character, and to reveal a Clue that hints at a terrifying cosmic mystery. Another will be the Witness, who portrays the main character and determines their actions in the story. Any other players are Whisperers, who support the Narrator by dripping in atmospheric description, answering the Narrator’s questions, and playing supporting characters. Each turn, we'll swap roles until eventually, we send the main character stumbling towards a confrontation with a cosmic evil. Time to find out the truth behind the Clues, and drive the story to a horrifying conclusion.
This game is perfect for fans of cosmic horror, card prompts, Fiasco, and other storytelling games.

“A Life on the Ocean Waves” is a Standard one-shot in the Goblin Quest system. Led by Nona de Koning.
Goblin Quest is a tabletop roleplaying game by Grant Howitt about slapstick violence, fatal ineptitude, and the most incredible adventure of your life.. Doodle and play five goblins each (in sequence, not parallel) and watch them one by one meet hilarious ends. As you play, you’ll tell stories about goblins trying to achieve basic tasks and meeting fatal misadventure as they do it. You’ll play the goblins, and you’ll steer them through (or, more commonly, directly into) adversity, and you’ll have a fun time doing it. Will they survive the dangerous world and complete all their silly quests? Probably not. But you'll have fun finding out! Today, your Goblins will go on a Quest we'll call A Life on the Ocean Waves. Tired of the reeking claustrophobia of the Green Pits, you’ve decided to get together a greasy crew of restless adventure types and set sail for a nautical life. Unfortunately, you’re going to have to build a boat out of filthy rubbish and scrounged scrap, and all you have to sail it on is the festering swamp that borders the western wall of the Great Battle Camp. What could possibly go wrong with that plan, right?
This game will be great if you like drawing, goblins, shenanigans, harebrained schemes, Saturday morning cartoons, and Grant Howitt's games. This system is especially great for new players.
The game runner is very familiar with this system.
We will build characters in session.
Note: drawing your goblins is a minor but required part of gameplay; this can be done digitally or on paper. If drawing on paper, please be prepared to take pictures of your goblins (using a smartphone) and share/upload them in our game's thread here on Discord.

“Stonespire Marsh” a Standard One Shot in the Mausritter system. Led by Nona de Koning
Session pitch - Crawler Beyond The Stone:
Stonespire Marsh, named for the eponymous boulder at its center, is home to reclusive, sun-basking lizards. One day, amidst the muck and mud, they uncovered an entrance to the Stonespire itself, and their demeanor changed. They opened their island, speaking to visitors about a ""Second Sun.” They promise sanctuary and shelter the lost and needy, ""The Second Sun brings warmth and prosperity to all it shines upon."" However, pilgrims that enter the Stonespire never seem to leave again. What are High Priest Zon and the lizard cult up to? It's time for your brave mice to crawl beyond the stone and investigate what's really going on in Stonespire Marsh!
About Mausritter:
The settled mice huddle together, hidden in their settlements in trees and burrows and walls, scraping and saving. A tenuous existence. You are not like those settled mice. By choice or by necessity you are an adventurer. You live by your luck, your smarts, your bravery. With your friends by your side, you will abandon the warmth and safety of the mouse settlements and venture forth into the dark and dangerous places where other mice do not dare to tread. There is great wealth to be found by those that are willing to take it.
It's a huge and dangerous world out there. It does not look kindly on a small mouse. But if you are very brave and very clever and just a bit lucky, you might be able to survive. And if you survive long enough, you might even become a hero amongst mice."
This game will be great if you like Redwall, The Rescuers, The Hobbit, Over The Hedge, Thumbelina, OSR style RPGs
We will build Level 1 characters in the session. Character creation is lightning-quick and involves just a few random rolls. We'll do this together at the start of the session. If you've played Mausritter before and want to bring an existing character, contact me upfront to discuss.

“All Hands on Deck” is a Standard one-shot in the Descended From The Queen system. Led by Nona de Koning.
All Hands on Deck is a zero-prep GMless game and a hack of For The Queen. In this game, we collaboratively tell a story about a ship, its crew, and the sea they sail on. It is a game about the relationships between those people, about relying on each other, about being an individual in a team. We start by briefly discussing what sort of ship you sail, giving it a captain and naming them both. There is no need to dwell on details at this step; we'll learn more about our individual crew members, our captain, and our ship as our story develops!
This game will be great if you like For The Queen, ships, pirate crews, and collaborative prompt-based storytelling.
