Asteroid mining is a booming (and unregulated) industry, and while hyper-lanes are a young technology they connect most of the major planets and space stations in The Solar System, as well as a few out-of-system routes. You're a crew of small-time cargo haulers, contracted out for a quick job transporting emergency medical supplies to a mining station located in the asteroid belt. What you find there is going to keep you a little longer than just drop-off, though...

The town of Verdigris is the finest city on the island continent of Eleri, a shining-green jewel of the empire. It’s ruled by the founder of the city, Entrócenite the Eternal, an ancient emerald dragon. The Emeralden Emperor is the last of his kind but continues to watch over the city and share the gift of magic with the guilds of Verdigres.

This city is full of stories, but this one starts with a group of young newsies. This summer your group of friends has been lucky enough to get a job delivering newspapers for your neighborhood. But times they are a changing, and when a wizard-run company that delivers by crystalline construct opens up across the street -- your little operation just can’t keep up.

If you and your friends don’t do something quick, your source of spending money is about to disappear.
