That's why I had to bring you all here. That's the emergency. We got a letter last week, and it's suspicious. Everything about it raises red flags. I know if you read it, it all seems innocuous and normal. Trust me, if you knew my brother, you'd know that there's no way he could have written anything like this. That's why I'm putting together a group to go to the big city. We're going to find my brother and make sure he's okay. It won't be easy, I don't know. I don't know the first thing about life in that place. How do they get around? What kind of dangers might there be? What is the food like? How much money should we bring?
Every family in the valley has someone who went off to the big city. So, the way I see we all have reason to worry if something's wrong there. We've got to go and see for ourselves. "

"A Zero-level Adventure for Dungeon Crawl Classics
An evil wizard has plundered a vault of ancient lore, causing a seismic catastrophe that traps your entire village and all its inhabitants under the earth, likely to be killed by the malevolent creatures in this strange underworld. The Tock Tickler has long been a villain that the adult heroes did not think their teen counterparts should face, mostly because of the name. Everyone agrees that it's just a little too dicey to talk about with teens. Today, there is no choice. The Tock Tickler has taken time to track these teens and try to teach them to tangle temporally.
This game will be good if you like Teen Titans, Marvel movies, sassy and emotionally vulnerable characters, and effects that occasionally come before cause.

“Hammer of the Earth” a Standard One Shot in The Ultimate Micro-RPG Book system. Led by Nona de Koning.
For the city to survive, it must move. Hammer of the Earth is an adventure game about humans who worship the last machine in a world ruled by vines. You are Outriders, individuals who ensure the fuel supply for Hammer. It's the last bastion of civilization in the form of a gargantuan train, each carriage housing ten thousand souls, navigating an endless network of tracks. If the train stops, they are all doomed. The Navigator (GM) picked you from your various factions to keep the train moving. Presented with a limited clock and numerous obstacles, can you get back in time? Success or failure, you must all work together, even if in the end only one of you is held responsible for the outcome... Hammer of the Earth is part of The Ultimate Micro-RPG Book, an anthology of 2-page games. This means it's very rules-light and very easy to learn, but players should be comfortable using their own imagination without many rules to hold on to. This game will be great if you like rules-light adventures, countdown clocks, an impending sense of doom and trying desperately to be the hero when everything seems to be against you.

This Will Be Graded is a Standard One-Shot in the Daggerheart system. Led by Ley
This is it! The Demonstration Dungeon: the final test before you all get to call yourselves full fledged *trained* adventurers, licensed to go out and scour the notice boards for fame and fortune, and maybe even help some people along the way. You’ve worked so hard for this. But so have all the other teams, and the team with the highest grade gets the coveted Golden Key. Except, you’re not really sure *how* they grade this, and you’ve only passed by some of your teammates in the hall sometimes. You suppose the only thing to do is do your best!
This game is great if you like exploration, team strategy, and time-based challenges.

In the deepest part of the city of Vjernigas festers the abandoned guild of dungeoneers. The ancient order once tunneled through the region, protecting the growing communities of the Hartwood from subterranean threats. It's been centuries since they disbanded, and the creatures of the wide caverns have overcome their old taboos and are beginning the scrabble at the underside of the city's foundations. The Sovereign has promised lavish funding to anyone who resurrects the old order and begins the process of clearing out the tunnels. It won't be easy, but it will be... exciting.
This game will be great if you like dungeon crawls that are mostly about lore.

This is it! The Demonstration Dungeon: the final test before you all get to call yourselves full fledged *trained* adventurers, licensed to go out and scour the notice boards for fame and fortune, and maybe even help some people along the way. You’ve worked so hard for this. But so have all the other teams, and the team with the highest grade gets the coveted Golden Key. Except, you’re not really sure *how* they grade this, and you’ve only passed by some of your teammates in the hall sometimes. You suppose the only thing to do is do your best!
This game is great if you like exploration, team strategy, and time-based challenges.

If players are familiar with the material, they can build their own characters with GM final approval

If we're going to keep up the public image of heroes in Halcyon City, we need to be seen doing some unambiguously good stuff. Lady Indomitable keeps vaporizing bystanders by accident and Comandante America just will not stop expressing his outdated views in post-heroics interviews. We need some real image rehabilitation, and plucky teenagers seem like the way to go. This game is perfect for fans of superheroes, teenage shenanigans, and emotional drama.
