Full Cast

This is a full cast recording composed from four remote voiceover recordings and includes 18 tracks to control all of the music and sound effects.

Interview

Three vocal tracks and the music are all that go into this show in most months. I edit for natural speech flow while removing most filler words and silences.

Actual Play

Four vocal tracks, one split out for added reverb and pitch effects in selective periods for effect. This show is edited to give a natural flow with minimal filler words.

For an example of the vocal effect, scan to the 5:00 minute mark.

I have been in a love affair with audio for perhaps my whole life. As a child, I taped the audio from our TV so that I could play back the episodes, no visuals required.

At college, I had my first opportunity to sit in front of a microphone and share my stories. Our little group of friends in the radio booth was given free rein to create short audio skits, crack jokes, and perform barbershop renditions or metal songs. I’ve been a poscaster ever since. I suspect that a diligent researcher could find my voice recorded on one project or another at least once every three months from that point forward to today.

I started editing in 2017 for Starlight Radio Dreams with training from the inimitable Peter Carparelli. In the years since, I have edited countless episodes for my own projects. I record once a week on average, and I continue to listen to podcasts and audiobooks whenever I can.

Now, the expertise I’ve built on passion for the audio medium is available for you. I offer my skills with audio editing, mixing, and layering along with a producer’s understanding of the deadlines, production process, and frustrations that go into making a podcast happen.
