The Brimstone Cradle

A game in the DCC Weird Frontiers system, led by Stefan Surratt.

Travelers on the western front seek shelter from a fearsome blizzard in the early hours of Christmas morning. The only shelter is a lone cabin wherein an infant child has just been born and demons are coming to take its soul. More info on the Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/brimstonecradle/the-brimstone-cradle-and-the-hills-that-hunger?ref=7kda29

This game will be great if you like Evil Dead or Cabin in the Woods if they were a western.

The judge will provide level 2 characters. I will provide information on class abilities, but if you know how to roll a d20 and try to get high numbers then you'll follow along.

This game will be ideal for people who have played some RPGs.

This game will balance silliness with seriousness and feature combat heavily.

This game will be hosted on the con’s Discord server in room #2 and be open for spectators.

CW: violence, demons, and children in peril.

DCC Weird Frontiers: Swamp Music

A game in the Weird Frontiers (DCC RPG) system, led by Keith Nelson.

The lure of gold, the quest for revenge, or the just the restlessness you've felt since the War led you to the trading post on the edge of the zombie-infested, ghost-haunted swamps that now make up the Gulf Coast. You now have only to follow your spirit-ridden guide into the bayou to find what you seek...

This game will be like Deliverance crossed with Glory.

Level 1 characters will be provided. Weird Frontiers is a game set in an alternate universe US following the Civil War. Gunslingers, magic slinging gamblers, mad scientists, luchadors, dead-speakers, sin-eaters, occultists, and those who refuse to stay dead all populate this world. Pick one...

This game will be great for new players.

This game will balance combat with role play lean a little to the serious side.

This game will be run over Zoom.

CW: Violence, Gory descriptions, historical inaccuracy.

This game will be great for new players.

This game will be a little on the serious side and balance role play with combat.

This game is based on actual serial killers. It will be fun, but it won't be really light.
