“Bluebeard's Bride” is a Standard One Shot in the Bluebeard's Bride system, led by Ansel Burch.
Explore the Manse of Bluebeard, packed with secrets, not least of which is the one you carry. Will you defy his wishes, or are you loyal enough to resist the temptation of the hidden truth?
Each player takes on the role of an aspect of the Bride’s psyche—a Sister—who guides the Bride through Bluebeard’s house, armed with little more than a set of keys. Each of you takes turns speaking as these aspects of her psyche would speak, deciding what actions the Bride takes, pushing the Bride deeper into the mysteries of each room, and provoking new horrors along the way."
This game will be great if you like dark storytelling and heavy metaphors.
We will build characters in the session.
This session will be especially good for new players.
Players will be learning this system together with the game runner.
